Refunds and cancelling

Plans and prices

Teams in euro countries pay the same amounts in euros. Where the law requires it, sales tax or VAT is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

The free trial

• Each person gets one 14-day free trial, on the first team they create.
• If you choose a plan during your trial, you are not charged until the trial ends.
• If you don't choose a plan, nothing is charged. Your team becomes read-only: you can still open, look at and print your playbook, and export it.

Renewals

Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year, using the card on file, until you cancel. The price and the renewal date are shown in Manage billing in Hashmark, and Stripe emails a receipt for every charge.

How to cancel

1. Sign in to Hashmark as the team's owner (or a co-owner).
2. Open Manage billing (on the first page, or in Settings).
3. Choose Cancel subscription.

Your plan keeps working until the end of the paid period, then stops renewing. Nothing is deleted: you can come back and choose a plan again at any time. If you can't sign in, email [email protected] and we cancel it for you.

Refunds

• Within 14 days of any charge (the first one or a renewal): email [email protected] from the account email, or tell us the team name, and we refund that charge in full. The plan then ends.
• After 14 days, charges are not refunded, and we don't refund part of a month or year. You can still cancel so the plan doesn't renew.
• Charged by mistake (a double charge, or a renewal after you cancelled): we always refund it, whenever you tell us.
• Refunds go back to the card that paid, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Nothing on this page takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU and UK)

If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law gives you a right of withdrawal. Our 14-day refund rule above already covers it and goes further, because it applies to every charge, not only the first.

• Your right: you can withdraw from your plan within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you choose the plan (the day the contract is made).
• How to withdraw: tell us clearly that you want to withdraw, for example by email to [email protected] or by post to Vantry LLC, 2524 Van Beek Road, Green Bay, WI 54311, USA. You can use the model form below, but you don't have to. You are on time if you send your message before the 14 days are over.
• What happens: we refund every payment for that plan, in full, within 14 days of the day we get your message, to the card you paid with, at no cost to you. We don't keep anything back for the days you already used. The plan then ends.

Changing plans

In Manage billing you can switch between Individual and Team, or between monthly and yearly. Stripe works out the difference for the time left in the current period, so you only pay for what you use.
